Barcelona are ready to use Andre Gomes as
bait to land Antoine Griezmann.
Gomes was omitted from Portugal’s World
Cup squad after a dismal season at the Nou
He was regarded as one of La Liga’s hottest
prospect but failed to kick on following his
£32.5m move from Valencia two years ago.
Barca are still desperate to land Griezmann
who has been consistently impressive at Atletico
And, according to Spanish media outlet Don
Balon, they’re willing to offer Gomes as
a makeweight for their top target.
Speaking earlier in the season, the Portuguese
opened up about struggling to settle in Catalonia.
