Barcelona transfer : Willian ‘wants’ move, may be ‘too strained’ to stay at Chelsea ● News Now #FCB

CHELSEA star Willian ‘clearly wants’ to move
to Barcelona, according to Sky Sports man
Nick Wright.
Chelsea have knocked back three bids from
Barcelona for the Brazilian, the latest of
which reached £55million.
It’s led to frustration for the player who
Weight believes is desperate to move to the
Nou Camp.
“He clearly wants the Barcelona move,” Wright
told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“Those bids being knocked back must have been
frustrating for him but Chelsea are entitled
to ask for a lot of money for him.”
“He’s a very, very good player, a very important
player to them.
He gets overshadowed quite a lot by Eden Hazard
but he gives the team so much going forward.
“He’s reliable, very consistent and he’s good
defensively and tactically as well which is
why Mourinho rates him so highly and why he’s
been linked with him as well.
“It’s an interesting one.
You look at it now and wonder if that relationship
is too strained for him to stay at Chelsea.
“But obviously if no-one is going to cough
up the asking price, that’s what’s going to
happen.”
Willian has attracted interest from Manchester
United and Real Madrid this summer too.
Barcelona, meanwhile, walked away from negotiations
with Chelsea last week after refusing to meet
their £70 million asking price instead signing
Malcom for half that amount.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has planned
meetings with Willian to discuss the situation
with days left of the transfer window.
“He said at his unveiling that he wanted all
these players to come back and have a few
days training with him to see how they felt,”
Wright added.
“Some of these rumours have died down a bit.
Perhaps he’s winning over the squad and perhaps
there won’t be too many departures before
the deadline.”
